Corruption, intrigue, deception and love.

Moliere’s classic comedy about lies, hypocrisy and what happens when the person we desire is the person we most dislike – this time played out in a seedy cocktail bar in fictional Maghrebia during the 2011 Arab Spring. Alex West, a truth-telling journalist in love with the unprincipled Céline, comes up against Oronte, a sleazy local politician who will stop at nothing to further his career, and a rival for Céline’s affections. How will Alex negotiate the entanglements of twisted political and emotional affairs?
