Hamlet by William Shakespeare

Shakespeare’s greatest work is presented in an intimate, stripped down production that ventures to answer the question, “Who’s there?”

Our version of Hamlet will show that everyone can play Hamlet. Or Ophelia. Or Horatio, Rosencrantz, or… You get the idea. We will be exploring who Hamlet and the other characters are when they are played by actors of all backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and genders. We’ll keep all the famous speeches, do away with anything that isn’t interesting, and create our own version of this fantastic story.

Maddie trained at The Guildford School of Acting. Recent credits include a three-month tour with Educo Italia and a rehearsed reading of Vinegar Bowl at World Heartbeat.

Samantha Allison

Samantha trained at The Sylvia Young Theatre School. She has been performing in the West End since the age of six, and has continued to work in film and television after college.

Moya Matthews

Moya trained in acting at Italia Conti and Mountview. Her recent credits include The Great Christmas Robbery with Hobgoblin Theatre Company and Macbeth with the Young Shakespeare Company. Last month, she was a finalist in monologue competition Make The Cut at Pleasance Theatre. Previously, she has been a performer at Disneyland Paris and LapLandUK, as well as taking her one woman show asimplelife to a British International School in Munich.

Lizzie O'Reilly

Lizzie is about to graduate from the Drama, Applied Theatre and Education course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As part of her degree, she devised and performed work across all three years and has also facilitated and directed for young people. Itchy Feet Theatre credits include Hermione in The Defamation.
