No Contingency:

Gender and the Climate Crisis

6 - 8 March 2025, 7.30 pm

This International Women's Day, we are showcasing the work of female and non-binary playwrights who are responding to the climate crisis in their work.

Climate change affects everyone, but not equally.

Women, especially in poorer countries, face disproportionate risks and challenges from extreme weather events and resource shortages. For instance, they face increased household burdens and a higher likelihood of gender-based violence during climate-related disasters.

However, the voices of the people the most impacted by the climate crisis are also the voices that, statistically speaking, are the least heard in the theatre.

Join us as we ask and grapple with the most pressing issue of our times and attempt to redress that balance, bringing women and nonbinary voices to the forefront.

All ticket sales are non-refundable.

In exceptional circumstances, we might be able to exchange your ticket for another performance.

Late entry cannot be guaranteed; Latecomers are admitted at the discretion of the visiting company and show with everyone's best experience in mind.

If you would like to request an exchange or a refund, please write to info@baronscourttheatre.com
